James Louis Favret and Mary (Mayme) Arnold had the following children:

child 33 i. Francis Joseph6 Favret (#20) was born in Owensville, Oh 22 Nov 1893. Francis died 01 Jul 1966 in Cincinnati, Oh., at age 72. Uncle Ray's history tells of Uncle Frank.

child + 34 ii. James Raymond Favret was born 17 Aug 1895.

child + 35 iii. Louis Edward Favret was born 6 Jun 1897.

child 36 iv. Mary Margaret Favret (#22) was born in Owensville, Oh 24 Dec 1899. Mary died 8 DEC 1997 in Cincinnati, Ohio, at age 97. In Nov. of '95 we visited with Aunt Mary in St Margaret's Hall where she has living quarters. (Cincy) She is 96 and as bright and shiny as we've all known her to be.

child 37 v. John Arnold Favret [Rev. Father] (#23) was born in Owensville, Oh 23 Nov 1901. John died 24 Oct 1982 in Columbus, Oh., at age 80. Father Arnold, after studies at Xavier College, St. Gregory and St. Mary seminaries, was ordained 9 June 1928 for the Cincinnati Diocese. He served in Marion, Xenia and Marysville while with the Cincy Diocese. While serving in Marysville, Esther Roessner joined him there as housekeeper, secretary and "jack of all trades". We've all seen her paint walls, make drapes, cook for 150. The family found a great and faithful friend in Esther. Also while in Marysville the dioceses were realligned and Father Arnold became attached to the Columbus Diocese. A boon for the Cols Favs. He was a most dedicated and sincere priest and certainly a very loving person. A very dear friend-uncle to Jim and me and our children.

child 38 vi. Emma Theresa Favret (#24) was born in Owensville, Oh 26 May 1904. Emma died 17 Dec 1967 in Cincinnati, Oh., at age 63. Uncle Ray speaks of Aunt Theresa so I'll only give a few words of admiration for the sweet, dear, always smiling, probably never said an unkind word in her life.
