Jim and I visited the Castle of Culzean, "seat of the Kennedy Family". It over looks the sea and in the distance the shores of Ireland can be seen. The Kennedy family hosted Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower during WWII. He had his Headquarters there on the 2nd floor. Those rooms were deeded to the Gen. for his life time. A small watercolor of the Castle hangs in our den at 87.

4 iii. Helein McIlvaine (#6) was born in "Missing Place" no. 252 about 1621.

5 iv. Mareonne McIlvaine (#7) was born in "Missing Place" no. 253 about 1623. Mareonne m. Gilbert Edgair.

7 vi. Quentin McIlvaine (#13) was born in "Missing Place" no. 260 about 1630. Quentin m. 1st Marian Blair, 2nd Margaret Moor.

8 vii. Andrew McIlvaine (#15) was born in Ayr Co., Scotland about 1636.

9 viii. John McIlvaine (#14) was born in "Missing Place" no. 261 about 1640. John m. Ann Cunningham.
