He married Mary Greer date unknown. (Mary Greer is #31.) When Mary was age unknown and John McIlvaine was age unknown they became the parents of Catherine McIlvaine about 1750 in Sussex Co.,Delaware. When Mary was age unknown and John McIlvaine was age 25 they became the parents of Greer McIlvaine 1757 in Sussex Co.,Delaware. When Mary was age unknown and John McIlvaine was age 28 they became the parents of George McIlvaine 1760 in Sussex Co., Delaware.

They,with bro. George crossed the mountains by wagon and located in Somerset Twp., Washington Co., Pa.. They had 16 children.See Torrence etc. for more detail. 1.
