57. William8 Williams (Rev Nathan7, Rev Stephen6, Rev John5, Samuel4, Robert3, Stephen2, Robert1)(7) (#70).

He and his family left Tolland 1830 in a Westerly direction. They appear in Gallia Co. where Augustus D. was m. and Theodotius D. stayed. There are some deed records etc. Several traveled on ending in the Toledo area. There William and Sarah are buried. See Williams History Text.

William Williams and Sarah Burt had the following children:

child 62 i. Nathaniel9 Williams (#989).

child 63 ii. Mary Burt "Polly" Williams (#77).

child 64 iii. William Williams (#78).

child 65 iv. Sophia Mariah Williams (#79). Sophia m. Henry Clark of Cedar Keys, Fla.. Why she was in the Maumee area is not known but her burial records reveal her m. status. She is buried in Riverside Cem. with A.D. and her parents.

child 66 v. David Burt Williams (#80).

child 67 vi. August Davenport Williams (#81). A.D. 1st m. Sarah M. Kerr in Gallia Co. 4 Feb.1835. She d. 28 Feb 1836 in Maumee. He m. Julia Chamberlain 16 Jan 1841. They had Everard Burt and Mary Frances. Neither m.. "Burt" was a Civil War Vet.. They are all buried Riverside Cem, Maumee, Oh. In the 1850 Lucas Co. C., Mary Burt and William H., I presume by names and ages are his siblings. His mother Sarah Burt Williams at age 75 also resides. There is a Henretta Williams 25 listed with family.(?)

child + 68 vii. Theodotius Dickerman Williams.

child + 69 viii. Charles Albert Williams.

child 70 ix. Mortimer Hall Williams (#84). Mortimer lived in the Maumee area where he applied for a license to keep a tavern and was accepted during Common Pleas Court session 27 Ap 1836. I have not found him in the Census records or Cem. readings. Perhaps he lived in Mich..
